It has pockets!! I wouldn't put anything too heavy in the pockets, but the fact that it even has pockets is a plus! It's very well made and very soft, will definitely keep you warm. The hood has a wire throughout it to keep the ears up, so yes it is exactly as shown in the pictures. But the wire does make the hood a little bit heavy, not a downside for me, but might cause some discomfort if you choose to leave the hood down. Front ribbon comes separately so you would either have to sew it or pin it on yourself. It's also very long, as in it goes past the length of the cloak, so you would have to do some adjusting there too if you want but it still looks fine if you leave it. I'm 5'2 and I got the S/M and it falls right below my hips a little. This was a really great purchase! Highly recommend!
