Miccostumes 2016 Crossplay Contest

We are holding a crossplay contest on Facebook! It has been a while since our last crossplay contest

in 2014 on the blog. Now it’s time again to show your love for cosplay. Enter your life photo and

crossplay photo for a chance to win a $100 gift card, a $50 gift card or a $20 gift card from

Miccostumes cosplay store!

 

Winners: Those who have the most “Likes” will win the contest.

Prizes: 

First Prize: a $100 gift card from miccostumes.

Second Prize: a $50 gift card from miccostumes

Third Prize: a $20 gift card from miccostumes

Submitting an entry:
Submit a life photo(showing your real gender) and a crossplay photo(opposite gender) to us

via private message, and we will post the photos to our wall with the hashtag #miccontest2.
Once posted, it is considered an official entry (PS: We’ll add your photos within 48 hours after

you sending them)Please include the name of the character you are cosplaying as and where

he/she is from, as well as any other information you would like us to include in your entry

(cosplay page link, photographer page link or name, etc.) Additionally, we will only be accepting

one  submission per entrant.

Entering Period: Submissions will be accepted from April 15th to May 15th .

Voting:

To vote, search the hashtag #miccontest2, and like/comment/share the entries that you wish to vote for.

Please note only posts made by the official Miccostumes Facebook account are part of the contest.

Entriesand posts made by anyone else using this hashtag are not considered part of the contest.

Contestants are allowed to like, comment, and share their own posts, but doing so will not count

towards their score.

Winner Announcement: 

Winners will be announced on miccostumes Facebook on 16th May 2016,

and the prizes will be rewarded right after.

Miccostumes Valentine’s Day Cosplay Contest

cosplay contestValentine’s Day is for couples, and it ‘s not only for couples! We are hosting a cosplay contest on Miccostumes Facebook.

Enter your cosplay photos for a chance to win a $50 gift card or a cosplay wig (up to $30 value) from our very own Miccostumes cosplay store.  Check out the event details:

CONTEST TIMELINE: Submissions will be accepted between the time of this post and 11:59pm PDT on 2/10/2016. Votes will be accepted until 11:59pm PDT on 2/13/2016. The winners will be announced on Valentine’s Day, 2/14/2016

“COUPLES” CONTEST THEME:
The theme for this contest is “couples cosplay”. Each entry must include two or more cosplayers from the same series, game, etc. The characters do not have to have a canon romantic relationship, but must share enough similarities to be considered a pair. More than two characters is acceptable in cases such as love triangles and harems, but random assortments of characters will not be accepted.

VOTING & SCORING:
To vote, search the hashtag #miccontest2, and like+comment+share the entries that you wish to vote for. Each person may vote for an entry a maximum of 1 time. Please note that you must like, comment, and share a post to register as a single “vote”. This is a new measure we are trying out to prevent cheating using false accounts. Contestants are allowed to like, comment, and share their own posts, but doing so will not count towards their final score.

CLAIMING YOUR PRIZE:
After announcing the winners on our page, we will send out notifications to the winners asking them to confirm and claim their prizes. If a winner does not confirm within 3 days (72 hours) of the notice, or if he/she turns down his/her prize, the prize will be given to another contestant.

10 cosplayers joined our Attack on Titan Cosplay Contest last month and each of them got a prize. If you missed the contest last time, don’t be sad, here comes your chance! The theme this time is Couple Cosplay, join now with your friends~!

Rules:

1. Time for the Contest

June 5th – June 30th (Pacific Standard Time )

 

2. Winners and Prizes

Winners:

Those who have the most “Facebook Likes” will win the contest.

Prizes:

First Prize: $50 cash coupon for each cosplayer

Second Prize: $20 cash coupon for each cosplayer

Third Prize: $10 cash coupon for each cosplayer

Each contestant after the third with more than 20 likes will get a $5 cash coupon.

Note: Cash Coupon can be used as equivalent cash when purchasing in our store.

 

3. How to Participate

All you need to do is post on your Facebook with at least one photo(more is prefered) of your couple cosplay. The text must contains Miccostumes.com  Couple Cosplay Contest  https://blog.miccostumes.com/?p=10281 and the names of the characters plus its anime name, reply to our Facebook post with your info.

4. About the qualification

At least one photo is required. The photo(s) must be two characters from the same anime (Only one? No! More than two? No! From different anime? No!)

A character and his/her genderbend together is acceptable.

Two characters without love/friend/rival relationship (ie. irrelevant characters) are not acceptable.

The photo(s) should be clear enough to see which characters you are cosplaying.

Please note that only one post is valid, we’ll not add up the likes if your post is more than one.

Miccostumes has the final say whether you’re qualified.

 

5. Results

We’ll count the likes on your post on July 1st and announce the winners on our blog, the prizes will be rewarded right after.

This month, Miccostumes cosplay contest is back! We welcome cosplayers to join in our contest to win free costume,wig and cash coupons. Here we go!

 

Attack on Titan contest

Attack on Titan attracts a lot of enthusias all over the world from

last year through its novel topic and eye-popping graphics.

We can see cosplayers of characters from Attack on Titan on every

convention.

If you are a fan of Attack on Titan and have done any of its

cosplay, don’t hesitate to participate in this contest.

You may get a chance to win costume, wig and also cash coupon from

5. Results

We’ll comment the likes on your post on May 29th.

The winner will be announced on our blog on May 30th and the prizes will be send to the winners then.
