Q: How did you know this contest? Is it easy to join in or do you have any advice for it? Since there will be many other contests held here, which theme do you most expect to see later?

A: I see a post on deviantart.It’s easy to join and I have no expectations about other contest but I hope to be surprised!^^

Q: What’s your favorite cosplay theme? And what’s your best cosplay performance?

A: This!We love couple cosplays and we think our best performance where Sasuke & Sakura and Zeus & Artemis from Saint Seiya Sacred Saga

Q: What do you think about cosplay? Share us something good and bad on this performance art in your opinion.

A: For us cosplay is the final art.It unites painting,darwing,sewing,carpentry and it required a high knowlege of materials.It’s our hobbie and of course we love it.The bad thing are that it exist too much competition =(

Q: We will be interested in knowing some difficulties you met while cosplay. And how did you overcome them?

A: The difficulies are trying to do somethings you had never done like cuttin wood or sewing.I had take lessons from my mother and learn to sew and other things toghether to create our work without giving up even if it was hard.

Axis Powers Hetalia Fanart Contest

Hello~ I’m Vani and I only recently got into Hetalia actually. Early last March to be exact. But I’ve been totally obsessed with it it’s practically unhealthy ahaha. (I blame my history teacher for even recommending it) Though some think it’s embarrassing for me to admit, Hetalia really helped me in history classes since I was able to put a face to international affairs. It has definitely made class for me so much more entertaining than before. As for characters, I love all the personifications but my main favourites are Spin, England, Seychelles, and America. They always seem to end up on the margins of my homework and tests. Out of all the characters, probably one of the only characters I draw more than others is England. It never gets boring though~ I’ve only cosplayed Hetalia twice in the past since It’s only been a year and there aren’t any real major cons near me. Those include Pirate!Seychelles and Nyotalia!Spain. But enough about my awkward love for Hetalia, I hope you enjoy my art~

Comments: I just had all these feels for familial love. <3 The F.A.C.E. family is one of my favourites in the series. 2. 2P!England

Comments: There was a 2P craze online and all the fan designs were absolutely adorable I had to draw them! Though I sort of made it a bit more bloody than intended.

3. K-POP~

Characters: Taiwan and Belarus (Brief appearance in the back by China and Russia)

Comments: There was a request on LiveJournal for these two characters interacting. K-pop seemed like a good idea~ It was also my first time drawing Belarus and Taiwan ever so I think it turned out fine~

Ok, what do I have to say…I started to read hetalia such long time ago that I don’t even remember.At first I was disappointed because it was making fun of my poor country but some time later I tried to watch the anime and I’ve fallen in love with it. This is how hetalia became my obsession. Now I draw mostly Spamano fanart which is my favorite couple, the bad friends trio and scenes from roleplays with my friends.

I first started watching/reading Hetalia back in March of last year I think. I first came across many cosplay photos and fanart of the characters and was quite curious. Since then I was hooked. I just adore the personalities of the countries and how they interact. As a lover of history, the historical hints of many different events as well as characters of forgotten countries (Prussia anyone?) really made me happy. Simply put, Hetalia is a funny show and comic about personified countries that will always keep you laughing. It’s so rare for me to find a show that makes me laugh from start to finish and Hetalia is one of them.
I recently started drawing fanart for the show, since I’ve only been drawing for two years and I mostly draw animals. As I’ve grown more confident with drawing humans I’ve been sketching lots of fanart. It’s so fun for me to draw the characters and see my ideas come to life. I love art very much and I’m so happy I can draw fanart for such a wonderful show.
I’m hoping to win a cosplay outfit since I lack the funding to purchase one right now and I’ve always wanted to go to my local cons finally dressed up as one of my favorite characters.

4. How Should I Feel?

Comments from the artist: Drew this while listening to Monster by Meg & Dia. I was thinking about the Revolutionary War. That comic strip and the episode have to be my most favorite. A rare serious moment that was very touching. Made me tear up.
This is actually my first time using Paint Tool SAI and I did it all on one layer as a challenge. It was quite fun.
