  1. Wow. I really like this article series on uniforms^^ It helped me a lot with a current project I’m doing.

And, actually, most schools in the US don’t have uniforms. And if they do, you HAVE to wear them and the rules are very strict about how you wear them and what you wear. And nowadays it’s usually only charter schools or private schools ^^

  2. Hey, you really are stretching things to describe some of these uniforms. That pic of the “Campus environment in United States is rather unconstrained” is just a publicity shot of ACTORS in their 20’s pretending to be private school students. It certainly does not show what most schools are like. As for the Australian school, that is again from a Private School, a rather expensive and exclusive one at that. Most public schools have basic uniforms, white or grey shirts, dark grey pants or shorts, ties are rarely if ever worn. many schools no longer have uniforms. The Chinese sport uniform is just that, one of two types and not worn everyday. Uniforms around the world are far more varied than you could imagine.

  3. I can’t speak for the other countries, but Australia is NOT like that at all. Adding to what Peter said, if you go to a public school you’re likely to find jeans, t-shirts and hoodies amongst the crowd.
