Description: AlmaCon is a free anime and gaming convention hosted by the Alma College Otaku and Gamers! This event is in its second year and so far everything looks great. Our mission in planning AlmaCon is to involve those in our community who have an interest in anime, Japanese culture, and tabletop and video gaming. There is no admission fee for entrance, as we want anyone to be able to attend who wants to, including high school students and students of nearby colleges.

After having attended Holiday Matsuri, a holiday themed convention, I am proud to present to you some lovely scenes from the convention. As well as the Holiday Runway Costume Contest where people showed off there Christmas cosplays.

G-Anime is an annual weekend anime convention held in Gatineau, QC, Canada at the Palais des congrès de Gatineau. Run and organized by La Société d’Animation Japonaise de Gatineau (SAJG), G-Anime caters to anime fans from the National Capital Region of Canada by offering events, attractions and activities such as a dealers room and an artists alley, anime screenings and a manga library, panels and workshops, AMV contests, game shows, cosplay events (Masquerade, Cosplay Chess, Fashion Show, etc), and video games stations.
