How To Make Fate Extra Red Saber Sword For Cosplay

Speaking of Red Saber, it always comes with her scarlet long sword Aestus Estus.

The Original Flame or The Embryonic Flame you may also call it, It is a hand-crafted crimson sword

brought with her when summoned under the Saber Class by a Master. Here we will talk about how

to make this powerful and stylish weapon for cosplay.Fate extra

Basically, we will use PVC tubes of 15mm diameter for the build-in framework and hilt,

while EVA sheets for blades. You may have noticed that there is a special arc at the blade;

we will create that by matching two PVC tubes.
Prepare a 1.4 meters long PVC tube (15mm diameter) as the basic bone of the blade.

The black one is about 10cm long and of 30mm diameter. With the help of the hot melt glue,

joint the two tubes together and stuff a triangle PVC piece at the joint part.

A smaller pipe than the black one can be inserted and serves as the handle.

The handle length should be 35cm. red b

As to the blade, draw the shape on papers and cut it off.

Trace it on EVA sheets and outline the figures. We will need two pieces.   red c

When we got the EVA blade pattern and done with the figure drawing, slightly notch along the lines.
Then bevel at edges with an angle of 30 degrees. RED D

Next big step is to glue the blades together and implant the pipe.red eBe aware of the hilt, just use a smaller pipe to insert into the black one and strengthen with hot melt glue.

For gaps at the flank, cut slices of EVA and glue them on. red f

Then coat the whole sword with latex. When it got dried, paint it into red.

The balck figure is made with propylene, and we are done with this !red g
