Shion is portrayed as a girl who tries to overcome the tragic events of her past by "looking away from reality and truth". This character is popular among cosplayers. It can be portrayed by wearing cosplay Shion Uzuki costume and cosplay Shion Uzuki wig. This character is always present in a Xenosaga cosplay.
